Welcome to my page!

Well hello! I am so excited to FINALLY get around to starting this blog! I've wanted to for years but it always feels so overwhelming to begin the process. I decided to just dive right in and go for it without trying to think too much about it. The purpose of this blog is just to chronicle my little family's adventures and attempts at creating a more self-sufficient and self-reliant lifestyle for ourselves. We are a military family, which does create some setbacks. We are simply doing what we are able in the situation we are in right now, and hoping to be able to learn as much as we can about starting a homestead before we make the decision to separate from the military and settle down somewhere.
